dear rob zombie:

i respect your desire to branch out from making creepy loud music to make creepy loud movies; the horror genre is a long and distinguished tradition in movie making, with many shining examples of stellar films. and while i have not personally seen your movies, i'm not convinced that anyone is ever going to point to them as leaders in their field. but more importantly, i feel compelled to ask you this question--
why do you insist on giving your movies really terrible names? "house of 1000 corpses" was bad enough, but "the devil's rejects"? that's just laughably bad. you really can't expect anyone to take you seriously. of course, you've just made a movie in which the trailer's opening line invokes a "human slaughterhouse," so maybe being taken seriously isn't really what you're going for in the first place.

in conclusion: rob zombie, if you must make terrible horror movies, please try to give them slightly better titles.
