It is a pleasure to inform you that your poem "The Whore's Daughter" won an Honorable Mention in the 2004 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Awards sponsored by the Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College. (wow really?! i'd given up hope, since i was supposed to hear back in june)
We would like to arrange a reading in honor of the winners of the 2004 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Awards at the Poetry Center in Paterson on Saturday, November 6, 2004. We hope that you will be able to attend and to read the poem that has been selected by the judges. Please complete and return the attached form to us at the Poetry Center to indicate whether or not you will attend. (betcher ass i will attend!)
In addition, please send the poem on a disk with a three-line bio written in the third person, so we can include it in the Paterson Literary Review, Issue #34. Please include your phone number and e-mail address so we may contact you easily when necessary.
