i forgot to include some stuff in my first entry today.
punkunicorn has a quote in her IM profile from a band called Q And Not U. the bass player of which is a guy i hooked up with a few times in college. he worked for the radio station. he lived with my friend steve. i scored a free ticket to see ani from him one time. so i was talking to punkunicorn about it, and i looked the band up on my favorite of favorites, google, and discovered that lo and behold, they had kickedhim out of the band. it's satisfying, somehow, to see the guy who only wanted you around when he was drunk (because he was "too messed up for a relationship") to get his smug emo self kicked out of his band. so yeah, that was kinda cool. though now i can't brag about knowing someone who's signed to dischord records. and i'm still chasing musicians.
and the party this year will be at my brother's house, and my friend ali lives just upstairs, so it's two! two! two parties in one!
