i just finished watching bush do the war speech thing...it scares me. it's like we're careening out of control toward some future that we have no control over. or at least that i have no control over.
and it infuriates me how dubya talks about "america" like it's a conglomerate with just one opinion. just his opinion. that he's doing this in the name of america. in my name.
this "war" violates virtually every international law i can think of. it's arrogant, it's pig-headed, and it's provoking all kinds of danger.
at some point i want to develop this. i also want to get involved in some kind of political activism against this. but in the meantime, i'll just urge you to speak out about the issue. write letters. email. generally harrass your local representatives.
