ok, it's a mini-vacation. but it's still time that i can relax and actually do what i was put on earth to do. read and write and talk about reading and writing, and think about writing, and write about thinking, and, oh, here:

so i went shopping again. spent way too much money, as usual. though mom's happy because i bought things that weren't black. they were red. and leopard print. but that's not the thing that's making me really happy right now. i went into FYE (and is that the dumbest possible name for a store or what?) to buy a replacement for my belly CD (king) that my friend's cat pee'd on a while back. it wasn't there. what was there was a copy of "sweet ride: the best of belly." a collection of b-sides, of random things, one new release. the french version of "judas my heart." a cover of "trust in me," the snake song from the jungle book. this has not left my side since i opened the package.
