Princess Messyface, the Best Baby in the World, turned one year old yesterday. i can't believe she's only been in our lives for one year, and at the same time i can't remember what it was like before she came around. she's the brightest of my blessings right now, and i am a hopelessly doting aunty.

having said that, i am going to sleep because i've been up since 6 am. why? because i stayed with the three oldest progeny of Older Brother, and as it turns out, i am responsible enough to wake up, get three highschool kids woken, fed, showered and dressed and off to school in the morning. now if i could do that for myself, we'd be in business.
