i dropped off my application to the pet store today, so maybe soon i'll be gainfully employed. not that the youth center isn't gainful in other respects, but i could use a little green to make buying things easier. not to mention health insurance.

i went to the doctor today; he agrees that i can step myself off the paxil and be done by october. this is big stuff kids--the first time in three years that i'm lowering my dosages instead of raising them. i feel fairly good. i don't like crowded places or gray days (and i probably never will), but i think i'm at a place i can deal with them and not flip out.

yay i got new witchy books! i'm totally and completely addicted to these. they're marketed toward teens, but the plot lines are very good and the wicca references are, from what i know, very accurate. it's actually teaching me a lot. i wish i could find some other people around here to learn with because i really want to learn more. the reason i get these books is a friend at penguin putnam publishing (say that 5 times fast). she knows how into the series i am so she sends me free copies. i need a job like that. i'll commute to NYC everyday for free books! hire me! hire me!
