beyond tired.
Best Baby in the World woke up at 4 am and wanted to be fed and changed and cuddled before sleeping again. she's still the best baby in the world though. woke up at 7 am to take Nephew to his 7th grade orientation. it's weird. he was born when i was in 7th grade, i was born when my sister was in 7th grade, and his sister was born just before he started 7th grade. strange patterns...of course it means i can wait til Best Baby is in 7th grade to have a child. that buys me some time...
so i set foot in a public school for the first time since coming home. it's the first time i've been to one i haven't either attended or worked at though, and that was a little odd. but it's a nice school. about 3 times the size of my alma mater, with a 2-storey library (which would have been heaven for me), a gigantic cafeteria, and its own planetarium (?!).
but now that i climbed lots of stairs and walked down lots of corridors, i'm ready to take a nap while Best Baby does. and i'd better hurry because soon she'll wake up and be ready to go again. this mommy business is hard work. on the other hand...
