a day in the life
ok first of all, it looks like people are actually reading this thing . big hugs and kisses to all of the people who unexpectedly added me to their favorites lists.

i wish i had some wonderful rant to give you today, but i just haven't got the energy. i had a migraine that prevented me from writing...for those of you who have never been so fortunate, imagine yourself a knife and the migraine the knife-sharpener. to continue with the kitchen metaphor, i was like a dishrag yesterday in the aftermath.

so my younger brother just moved back into the house yesterday. it's funny, the two of us living with our parents again, like nothing ultimately changes. i haven't lived here since i left for college six years ago, but it might as well have been yesterday. the good thing is that i get to refinish the master bedroom as my own bedroom/ office/ hermitage. thus i am covered with primer, and getting ready to paint. at least i will have a quiet space for my computer and my poetry books, with the added benefits of no rent and free meals.

in a later entry i want to discuss old warner bros. cartoons, but i want to actually watch them first, so i'm ready to explain them fully. the racist content amazes me, and it bothers me that they've never admitted accountability for it, but just buried it as deeply as possible. they're supposed to be so cool, with the "WB," and their shows that are supposedly geared toward "minorities," and they have this as the skeleton in their closet. i dunno.

so those are my paint fume-fueled meanderings. have a nice day. with liberty and justice for all, -beatpoetgrrl
